Neighbors Sharing with Neighbors in Crisis

Located in Milford, this charity strives to assist people of the Sussex and Kent County communities who are living in poverty following financial crisis. Through donations of clothing, food, and other needed items, the organization seeks to create stability and comfort for families and individuals alike, and they are always in need of donations and volunteers!

Clothing Our Kids

Help improve the lives of elementary school children by partnering with Clothing Our Kids of Millsboro to provide essential school clothing for local children. They accept monetary and clothing donations, and welcome volunteers. Additionally, they host a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year.

K.I.S.H. Home

Kingdom Investments in Single Hearts seeks to help and heal teen girls and young women currently in or who have recently aged out of the Delaware foster care system. Their Transitional Living Program provides a supervised home for young women who’ve aged out of the system and are at risk for poverty and homelessness. They seek to empower local women through a variety of programs, and are always welcome to donations and volunteers.

Chicks for Charity

This local organization helps to provide funding for local charities in order to make a difference within the Lewes and Southern Delaware community. They host a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year, and are always looking for donations. They have an upcoming event, the Chicks for Charity Dinner, which will take place November 15th at the Fish-On Restaurant at the Village of Five Points in Lewes.
