Support Food Bank of Delaware’s Thanksgiving for All Program

FoodBank_103113Please help Food Bank of Delaware’s Thanksgiving for All program collect the needed items to fill 2,500 Thanksgiving meal boxes for Delaware families in need! Food for the boxes is needed by Friday, November 4. Food received after November 4 will be distributed through the Food Bank of Delaware’s network of partner organizations.

  • Canned sweet potatoes
  • Canned peas
  • Canned corn
  • Evaporated milk
  • Canned pumpkin
  • Applesauce
  • Coffee/tea bags
  • Corn muffin mix
  • Canned gravy
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Graham cracker crust
  • Turkey pan
  • Frozen turkeys (must be dropped off to Newark or Milford warehouses)

In an effort to save money on transportation costs, the Food Bank asks that donations of fewer than 20 bags/boxes be dropped off at our facilities or statewide drop-off locations:

The Mission of the Food Bank of Delaware is to provide nutritious foods to Delawareans in need and facilitate long-term solutions to the problems of hunger and poverty through community education and advocacy.
