Active Adults Realty Announces 2014 Shining Star Award Winners

Active Adults Realty^TM  REALTORS® recognized for their Work at 2014 Shining Star Award Ceremony

Bill Bell, REALTOR® and I are pleased to announce to announce the 2014 Shining Star Award Winners at Active Adults Realty in Lewes.

says Kathy Sperl-Bell, Broker. “As one of the area’s only boutique brokerages, we feel it is important to single out our agents/REALTORS® for their achievements as we forge ahead in the recovering real estate market. This year’s Active Adults Realty^TM Shining Star Award recipients include:

Bill Bell, REALTOR® and Co-Owner of Active Adults Realty^TM, was awarded the 2014 North Star award. “Without Bill, our direction would not be as clear and steady,” said Kathy Sperl-Bell, Broker/Owner. In addition, Bill is the Top Selling Agent with the most homes sold in 2014 by any Active Adults Realty^TM agent.

Linda Chick received the 2014 Purple Heart award. Despite some health challenges this year, Linda was the Top Listing Agent at Active Adults Realty^TM as well as the Top Listing and Selling Agent at Heritage Shores. Linda joined the Active Adults team 5 years ago.

Debbie Shearer is the recipient of the 2014 Super Star award. Debbie doubled her sales in 2014 over 2013. Debbie is always willing to go the distance with her clients and has sold homes in all parts of Delaware. Debbie was also the Top Listing and Selling Agent at the Village of Cinderberry in 2014. She joined the Active Adults team 3 years ago after relocating to Delaware from Maryland.

Al Willis was awarded The Closer award for 2014. Last year, Al was the Rookie of the Year for both Active Adults Realty^TM and Schell Brothers. This year, in his first full year as a REALTOR, Al tripled his sales over 2013 and once again received a STAR REALTOR award from Schell. Al has been with Active Adults Realty^TM since obtaining his real estate license in the spring of 2013.

Elliot Welan was named the 2014 Rising Star. Elliot joined Active Adults Realty^TM after relocating to Milton from Northern Virginia. Elliot began his real estate career in new home sales as a Community Sales Manager for Brookfield Homes, where he focused on 55 and better communities, estate homes and custom homes. He joined K Hovnanian Homes in 2011 working with new home buyers in Virginia and in Delaware, then joined the Team at Active Adults Realty^TM as a licensed Delaware REALTOR® in December 2013.

Bryan Powers is the newest member of the Active Adults Realty^TM team. As such, Bryan was awarded The Apprentice award. Bryan has an extensive business background in related industries. “Real Estate was the career I’ve always wanted but, until now was never the right time,” said Bryan. Although he’s not a “Boomer”, Bryan understands the requirements of the boomer generation and promises to provide exceptional service to earn satisfied clients.

Judy Robinson, our Active Adults Realty^TM Office Manager and Settlement Coordinator, was unanimously awarded The Cheerleader award. “Judy can be observed doing the happy dance any time an agent drops off a new contract!” Judy joined Bill and myself in 2010 and was instrumental in growing the Active Adults Delaware team into what is now Active Adults Realty^TM, which celebrated 3 years as an independent brokerage this month.

Carol Fezuk, our Active Adults Realty^TM Marketing Manager, was awarded the one and only Design Star for the second year in a row. Her creativity and extensive background in media has been a tremendous asset to all of us at Active Adults Realty. From the graphical design of the entire Active Adults Realty brand, the web site, signs, email newsletters and all of the advertising, marketing and web content, Carol is a key member of the team.
